Prior to joining the Panthers, Alex worked as Creative Director for Football at the University of Maryland. While navigating content creation in the early days of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Alex supervised the production and management of all internal, external and recruiting creative media content for the Maryland Football program. Alex additionally managed day-to-day strategy and posting on the @TerpsFootball X and Instagram accounts.

Following a successful internship with ESPN in 2015, Alex completed a three year internship with Gamecock Athletics upon graduation in 2016. Alex then worked as a Video Producer in Gamecock Athletics for four seasons, creating content for Gamecock Football, Women’s Basketball and Softball. In 2017 Alex was the lead videographer for South Carolina Women’s Basketball’s national championship team.

Alex believes content creation and social media strategy are the bridges that bring fans and their teams together. As a creative, Alex strives to do things every day that excite him, challenge him and make him nervous. Embracing those pillars grows you both personally and professionally.
